Marilyn Monroe claimed diamonds were a girl's best friend. On Thursday, July 17 at Panera Bread Ladies Night at Bristol Dragway's Street Fights, one lucky lady will find out if Marilyn was correct.
Ladies will be able to register throughout the night for the chance to participate in the Bristol Dragway Diamond Dig. A diamond ring, courtesy of Victor Hardy Jewelers in Bristol, will be placed into a sandbox. A number of pre-registered women will dig through the sand until the ring is found, giving someone a little extra bling to wear home.
In addition to the Diamond Dig, all ladies will receive free admission to Street Fights courtesy of Panera Bread.
The Charter Bandits also return with the fastest street-legal cars in the area burning up the track in all-out race to the finish. Race fans won't want to miss the action these drivers provide.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing scheduled for 6 p.m. Admission is free for the ladies, and only $5 for guys. Those with any street-legal car, from mini-vans to exotics, can tackle the quarter mile. Guys can hit the track for $10, while the girls can do it for $5.
