Bracket racing returns to Thunder Valley this weekend with the July 26-27 Brawl in Bristol.  The event features bracket competition with intense action as racers will be locked in heated battles to become king of the Valley.

All categories will duke it out to take home the money in this bracket event.  After victories in last weekend's Pro Mod Challenge, several drivers come into this race with momentum on their side and the winner's circle in their sights. 

The Brawl in Bristol will prove to be a true slugfest among the best bracket racers in the region. 

Gates open at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday with time trials beginning at noon.  Eliminations kick off at 4:00 p.m.  Sunday's action begins at 8:00 a.m. with one round of time trials at 9:00 a.m.  Eliminations begin at 11:00.

Tickets are $10 each day, with children 12 and under free. Racers will receive one free crew pass with the purchase of each tech card.

At Bristol Dragway, however, the action doesn't take place only on the weekends. The weather is hot, the action is sizzling and the Thursday, July 24 Street Fights will be a scorcher with the final bikini competition of the season scheduled to take place during Guy's Night.

Ladies from around the area will compete for bragging rights, as well as cash prizes, during this last bikini contest of the year. Entry for the competition is free with the winner taking home $500. The runner-up will pocket $300 and the third-place finisher will take home $100.

Also on Thursday night, the Charter Bandits take to the track to see who is fastest in the Valley. The top drivers throughout the evening will see if they have what it takes to earn bragging rights as the region's fastest street-legal car.

Guy's Night begins when gates open at 5:00 p.m. Racing is set to start at 6:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for spectators and only $10 to race.
